lol, you guy's are killing me. :)
I will tell you what I will do. I will develope some close ups on the catch can and MSD stuff, but thats it. I have to keep some stuff a mystery until I unvaile the True "PuRe RaGe" machine (hopefuly at Nopi this sept). I want you guy's to know that the project is not completed, it is in the making. So there realy is not much to show but receipts and boxes right now. Roll cage due to be put in this month by then all my parts will have gotten here and a non stop assembly of the car will be in affect. Be patient my brothers, "some head are gonna roll" come next season for sure.
7406, aren't you in Florida? I will have to find out where you are gonna be at NOPI, I am making the trek up there this year again. . .

I put my catchcan right in front of the battery wedged between the ECU and the upper intercooler pipe. Best place for it if its going to reach both the valve cover and the air filter.

I am useing a Summit racing one as well (big red one). As for what it is used for, well it takes any blow by (oil from valve cover breather) and keeps it in a separate tank so it does not mess your turbo up or your intake.

I bought the one from RRE for 49 dollars. Its not huge, but it certainly catches all the oil that comes out of a healthy turbo 420a engine. (barely any at all). I get pictures back from developing tomorrow...I'll post them as soon as I get them.

Just thought about it...hell you'll be able to see it in person in 4 days :D

Thats cool, but the shoot out has been cancled (for me) due to unforseen sircumstances. I will be there in spirit to root you guy's on. But I have a long road to travel to get my project ready for next season and very little time to do it in. Good luck man.
P.S nice FMIC!!!

i'm still looking for a nice small catch-can. ...maybe something about the size of a soda-can. anybody know where to find one? if i can't find one i'll have to try and make one, but i'd rather buy it if it's available.

The 5th one down on that list. It is slighty larger than a soda can. Just barely. Its 49 dollars.

Here it is in my engine: (look in front of the battery)

Well here's where I put mine. Mine is a pretty big one, they said that this one is for cars and that small one is for motorcycles. The only time oil comes out of mine though is when I autocross, I've noticed that. I just used a bunch of tie wraps to secure it to the ECU bracket. I'm sure the fact that I don't have a collosal ECU helps also.

O heard a good junkyard mod is to use a brakefluid bottle, then like poke holes on the top of it or attack a breather filter. I'll probably do that for my PCV hose later on.

Oh yeah mine is a JAZ catchcan that I bought at Frey Racing for like 40 bucks.

That catch can will fit perfectly behind the engine block bolted to the firewall. It has to sit on a 45 degree angle. Had to do this to a friend of mine's avenger with stage 2 hrc kit. With the FMIC piping, there is no space anywhwere else. You can stil reach with your arm the toggle switch to drain the catch can. We just ran a small 1/4" hose from the drain fitting all the way to the bottom of the car. Works nice.

I'll post some pics when i can find them..
