Here is my fuel system idea. I plan to run a 14b with around 5-7 pounds of boost

Greddy Emanage-Full system
310cc injectors
190lph fuel pump
Vortech sfmu

How does the sound? i know about the megasquirt but considering im 16 and just starting out it may be a lil too much for me to take over

Why do you need the e-manage?? Your not making enough power to really use it anyway. For a 14b with low boost I would just run the stock injects and the S-fmu, you don't need any more than that. Except with the fuel pump get the proper whalbro 255lph pump.

I agree with everything but the injectors. Get the 30lb injectors. My car couldn't even handle 6 PSI with stockers.

Get:

- S-FMU
- 310cc injectors
- 255 hp walbro pump


By the way, I got 30 lb injectors for sale if u want them.

i want it to make fine tuning easier, and its better than the safc, does way more and when i decide to boost more ill have....may be a last item tho if i dont need it as bad, way i figure is if i have overkill on the setup tuningwise then i wont have bad luck with it going kaboom

this is what i've been thinkin about doin which is the sdsefi.com for my fuel management. i know there was a post last week for it say its wasn't someone first choice but i've seen a kid running that system. he has it in a vw bug from 69 pushin 230hp, i'm running a safc2 sfmu and larger injectors. from what he told me i could have had that sytem hes using for about what i spent on everything i have in the car already and that sds system. its just something to think about to save some cash and have room to up the boost.

if you have the e-man...why not put in the 440s or bigger

I would start with the S-FMU, Walbro 255 HP, and 310 cc injectors. That is a very common setup and easy to install and tune. It will be great for 5-7 psi boost. I would run that until you have the money for a built engine. Then you could swap in the built engine and keep your fuel system for another couple thousand miles (still running low boost). Once you were certain that the engine was broken in and all bugs worked out, you could install a more advanced fuel system. I say, take it slow and don't try to intall too many items at the same time. It is easy to get in over your head and blow something up.

Thanks for your help that is probably what im gonna do. Do you have any experience with the emanage? Ive heard of alot of guys using the SAFC with the set up that you described so i figured that if the emanage was a super duper SAFC then it would work better and be easier for me to fine tune.

I think that the e-manage can be purchased in several configurations. Starting out at little more than a S-AFC to something with nearly stand-alone capability. I have never messed with it, but I assume that the most capable configuration will be fairy complex to install and tune. Probably something that you should graduate to at a later time. Most people have their hands full just getting a basic turbo system tuned well. Once you master that, tuning a more complex system won't be that bad. Thats my opinion anyway. I tend to take things slow...

K-thanks for your help. I'll take your advice when building my fuel system. Ya taking it slow will definatly help me, plus its funner that way and you learn more so its kinda a bonus.
