well i need to sell my turbo kit for money, i hate to do it cuz now my car is gonna be slow as ballz again, but maybe some nitrous will hold me over, so here is my question, i have low comp je piston eagle h beam rods, aka fully built low comp engine, what is the max shot of nitrous i could safely use without leaning out, i would def. get a wet kit so what kind of shot could i suppport?

CAI, OBX exhaust, Grillcraft grills, altezzas, ard ryver g6 17's wrapped w/ falken's, VIS racing c.f hood, 2 12" kicker comp's w/pioneer h.u, streetglow blue undercars, red dash kit, indiglo guages, n other shit

the purpose of runnign a wet kit is so that you do not run lean. in each no2 nozzle is a nitrous pill and a fuel pill. these two pills are how you tune your mixture. tune it correctly and you wont go lean. as you get into higher hp ranges you will need a high flow fuel pump to supply the amount of fuel. you will need to tune with a datalogger to go into the higher hp ranges and try different fuel pills if you start going lean.

Basically there is no clean answer to you question. get a nitrous book and start reading how nitrous is tuned and installed.

Yah whatever dude^^ You could probly go with a 100-125 shot. Maybe even a direct port system. Nitrous is a lot of fun but even more so if you have a built engine.

The way I understand nitrous... Low compression is going to do next to nothing for you. It's the ability to withstand temperatures that makes or breaks a nitrous motor. Having forged internals is definately a benefit, but you would be much better off going higher compression. Talk to the all-motor guys, they'll help you better then we can

Also, with a single fogger system, I would not go over 125-150 shot. Once you are doing more then that, you need direct port, to better distribute the spray evenly between the cylindars. Also, that much spray would tend to puddle up at each bend in the flow.

I'm sorry i get defensive about nitrous but thats because i have a nitrous kit. He could go out and get a wet kit for under $500 throw in a purge, and a heater for under $700. Like him i dont have the money to go out and get a turbo kit thats why i have nitrous.

No offense taken.... but I was thinking he was gonna go with a much more expensive kit since he is built... arent there kitd that run huge shots that are fogger or direct port (I know nothing about nitrous :shrug). I remember seeing them for over $1g.
