The IC is on the car. I have the turbo connected to the IC through two pipes, (a C pipe and a long S shaped pipe). I will have to cut some plastic to get that to fit, but thats ok.
My problem is with the upper pipes. The pipe that connects to the TB (the one with the BOV) runs right into a plastic wall that holds up the ECU. (where the stock airbox was). The pipe that is supposed to connect to that pipe not only doesn't even come close to meeting up, it also completely blocks the driver side bumper mount. It looks like I'm missing either a rubber elbow or another small pipe... anyone have any ideas?

The pipe from the TB is about 6 inches away from the one that connects to the IC. And those 6 inches are blocked by wires going to the ECU, metal frame, and plastic.

Also, the 9psi actuator didn't come with the kit, but that is a different problem..

Any help would be appreciated...HRC's help line is only open for 4 hours. Trying to fit a world wide area of customers in 4 hours....got to love it.

you are missing a 90 degree elbo that connects the upper (top half) pipe to the upper(bottom half) pipe. You will or might require to drill a 3" hole under the fues box to connect the 2. notsure though as the eariler years are a little differant from the later ones.

I was missing the elbow from the turbo to the lower IC pipe and the 9psi actuator. It was shipped yesterday, so everything is in order. (thanks to Lori as well)

The FMIC is a VERY nice piece of craftsmanship. It bolts right on to the fog light mounts...very sturdy and fits perfectly.

I'm looking forward to running it at 8psi :D

Thanks also for calling this to our attention: we learned that our internal paperwork was in error as far as what was supposed to be in a Stage II FMIC Upgrade. We have fixed this omission now: this should not happen again.

do you need to cut or weld or smash anything when installing HRC's FMIC for their stage II kit? thanks for the info I have a 1995 GS and was wondering

There is no cutting or welding of metal needed, and only a slight amount of smashing (optional).

You have to cut the plastic bumper and bumper reinforcement. For this you need a reciprocating saw and a spinning 3" grinder/dremel blade. Or just a hacksaw.
The smashing (which I opted to do) was for the metal runner that gives the bottom of the front bumper its shape. I just smashed that as flat as I could so it wouldn't scrape against the bottom of the IC.

did you have to cut the hole that the oem wiring harness coming out of the fuse box so that the intercooler piping could fit through that? We had to do that on my buddy's avenger, but we had to cut more than instructed because the avenger/sebring front nose clip is a few inches farther out than the eclipse...

Intercooler fits NICE. The piping could be better for the avenger/sebrings, but i figure for the eclipses it should fit really nice.

Like he said, you need at a minimum a 20$ home depot jigsaw...

My upper IC pipe goes right through the hole where the stock airbox was mounted. You take the plastic crap out from under the fuse box and unscrew the plate that is there. Then you just pull the two pieces of pipe together and tighten the hose clamps. It sounds easy enough, but it was a pain in the ass..
