Anyone know what size threads for the fuel filter outlet? I am doing a turbo install on an Avenger this weekend, and he has a Walboro intank pump, but i need to remove the stock FPR, and need a fitting to screw into the fuel filter outlet with a hose barb on the opposite end..Anyone know?

remove the filter altogether. run a braided line from the fuel pump to a 3/8 line. If you want to use the factory hard line the so be it but get rid of the factory restrictive fuel filter for an aftermarket 6an.

I'm a little confused on what your doing Matt....are you keeping the stock fuel filter or bypassing it? It kinda sound like your gonna use the stock filter but upgrade the fuel line...

I kept my stock fuel filter and fuel line and just took the FPR out and plug the hole with I believe a M12 screw....sorry I don't know the pitch is but I got it at a bike shop...it's a oil plug for a bike or quad or something. I Teflon pasted it up good and use an o-ring to help seal it off....no problems yet :thumbsup

Yeah, i am removing the stock FPR and need to get a hose barb fitting to go into the fuel filter outlet. He doesnt plan to run that much boost on this car, and is still on the stock motor..I run the stock filter with no issues at 300 CHP..Our stock filters flow quite a bit.

on anplumbing.com it is part # 991945

that takes it from the fuel filter outlet to a -6an male port. from there you can get a -6anfemale to socketless 3/8 hose adaptor or just use -6 SS lines all the way.

The stock filter flows ok but how about the banjo fitting on the inlet side and the one on the outlet side you will be adding. Are you trying to tell me those two banjo fittings flow quite a bit? I doubt it considering they have a oriface about 3/16 large. You do what you want but i wouldnt recommend any banjo fitting for a fuel system, its your motor.

I know what you are saying man...but I use the stock filter with the banjo inlet still on there,but looking at my wideband,I can literally get my A/F ratio under 10:1 if i wanted to, at 15 psi. If it was not flowing that well at all, then there is no way to get that much fuel into the motor. I would say that our stock fuel feed line is good for around at least 350 CHP, and he is not even going to be near that for quite some time. We need to get this done asap, and just want to do something that works for low boost. Fuel upgrades can be done later on when more time is available. I know for a fact how much the stock feed can flow, because I have not yet come to its limits yet at 15 psi, approx 300 CHP.
