72526, Rebuilding 14b, quick question
Posted by UnrealXP, Jun-11-04 10:13 AM
I have a 14b with slight shaft play and i would like to rebuild it. I have had no luck finding a 14b rebuild kit, but i have checked posts on here stating 16g and 14b are quite similar. I was wondering if the rebuild kit for a 16g would be able to work on a 14b?

leave it to a professional unless you know what you are doing. Turbo's are balenced, if you disturb the balence the turbo will fail prematurely

DEFINATELY.

Having taken apart a few myself I wouldn't even undertake doing a rebuild on my own.
