Ok i just installed my turbo and at first it was looking like i was getting boost creep, so i adjusted the wastegate nut and tightened it and drove..good now..but the issues are:

When i am driving, and this is especially noticable in 5th, at about 1800-2000 rpm if i lightly tap the gas, like coasting with a lil throttle the car totallly just bogs out. Not sure what that is? runnign to rich maybe?

Another thing is are our engines suppose to sound hideious when we hit higher RPM(4.5k+) in boost? It sounds like a destorted muffler leak noise, like perhaps gas escaping from the manifold or pistons beating the crap out of themself, im not sure but it doesnt sound good at all

And the last thing is im getting a lot of blow by..is that normal?

How much blow-by, is it a cup? I got two table spoons for like the first week and now none (Knock on wood).

its hard to tell...i have a breather filter on there but its just spraying around the engine whenever i rev real high...i can actually see it start to come out the filter. I have an small oil leak somewhere...havent located it yet but i think it may be the oil pressure sensor/turbo feed area.

well if your costing- and hit the gas a little- it prolly is your vac to boost trans...What do you have for fuel cut? missin link? or FCD?

i dont actually go into boost though, its all in vacuum...i have missing link

What's your fuel setup? You're not really putting much load on the engine when trying to accelerate in 5th under 2K rpm's; if you were to run a tad rich, then it might "bog." More details?

it does it in any gear, but its really noticable as im in higher gears. The fuel setup is the star kit stuff, fuel pump and FPR that comes with it. Is there anyway for me to adjust this?

What are your Fp readings?

yea if you're not getting enough fuel, you're lean...and when you're lean you have no torque

whats the fuel pressure? you might have just hooked up your pump wrong

honestly your original post scared me. sounds like you might have been knocking hard in the 4.5-5K rpm range and the reason you have so much blow by is because you fucked up the ringlands or cracked a piston. stock pistons?? do a compression test....ASAP

im not sure what the FP is..i havent hooked up my fp gauge yet =/

No fuel pressure gauge hooked up? Wow.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I thought the standard Star stuff was - FMU and stock fpr. So his idle/static pressures are like stock.

I fixed the issue with my car bogging down and hesitating. Everything seems to be running fine now. Just have to find out where im getting slight oil leakage and if im still getting blowby.

Anyone know if our cars are suppose to sound like they are screaming in the higher RPM range under boost? I mean it sounds rediculous.

Mine doesn't scream or anything at the higher rpms. It has the nice, growl, but it sounds mean, not rediculous.

maybe its just me but i dont know if its suppose to sound like that. It really doesnt sound good.

external wastegate dump?..does it happen when you hit full boost? or just in the higher rpm?..

its just higher RPM...doesnt matter what boost is at. like right when it hits around 4k and up

Some type of exhaust leak? Have you check for leaks yet under the hood?.

it may be that..i have to go out and tighten everything so i will check the manifold and what not.

you could have a hole in your muffler or a nasty exhaust leak. which is always a hideous noise. i had the gasket between the turbo and the exhaust manifold break, and it sounded like i should carry some toilet paper with me to clean up after i was done driving.

all i hear now is the screaming of a turbo, and a loud.. mean.. engine.
