Ok right now my car is for sale . If it doesnt sell Im going to turbo it without any of my friends knowing it. I will leave the 4 sale sign in there and everything . I already have a headstart. I have the intercooler and manifold . Now I need the t3/t4 or thats what i decided on . If the t3/t4 doesnt come internally gated where would i go about finding a gate for it without modifieng my manifold . I also need a 1g bov just to start off . will upgrade to a type s eventually.

mine will be turbo this summer...even if I haveto sell crack..but then again I gotta sell drugs to buy gas so yeah..

and the answer is - if you want to put an external gate on it without modifying the manifold then you'll want to put it on the turbine outlet. I have a t3 turbine that has an open hole on the turbine side of it.

The idea is if you want to have the wastegate on the manifold, then you weld it shut and use a flange like this to create the downpipe. The downpipe would only have the maine turbine outlet at that point.


If you want the wastegate on the turbine outlet, then you leave it open and use a flange like this(with a hole in it) to create the downpipe. The downpipe would include the wastegate port as well as the main turbine outlet.
