i have a 98 eclipse gs stock besides a tsudo catback exhaust. I want to buy a Hahn Stage 2 turbo kit but have been getting mixed opinions from people. my car has 112,000 miles but is running pretty strong. only problems i have had with this car are clutch and a sensor. im not trying to rebuild my engine right know so that is out of the question. if u guyz could give me some opinions that would be great. im only trying to run 6psi.

yes get a turbo kit it'll be fine. redo your timing belt and headgasket too.

I agree...if the compression is good and everything else is in good shape go for it. I have a 96 and put my star stage 2 on at about the same time as (112,000), now I have 117,000 and still runs great but getting close to t-belt time. if you have the time patientce and basic understanding of turbo chrging you will love it and not regret it one bit. just my $.02

I would suggest only using the letter z in words it is supposed to be in. This makes you look smarter and more capable of understanding a detailed explanation of a problem and therefore, more likely to have a more seasoned tuner reply to your post.

Understandable that you are new here and may not be aware of the search function here, so this question, while played out and answered many many times, will get another answer. :P

You should do a compression test to determine if your internals are still holding up. Buy the gauge (not too expensive) as you will want it around to check the compression from time to time (good sign of trouble within).

You want to make sure you don't have any oil leaks anywhere. Especially the back of the head on the driver's side. This is where the OEM headgasket tends to fail and begin the dark days of cursing and verbally abusing your car.

Finally, are you planning on installing this kit yourself? I think most of us would highly suggest you do so. The more power your engine produces, the more likely things are to break and it will get expensive if you have to take it to someone else (likely not as experienced as half the people posting in this forum - this includes that do0d with the Supra regardless of how much horsepower he makes). Being able to understand where everything goes and how it works will serve you well in the future when you decide you want to turn up the boost (and you will want to turn up the boost.)

Welcome to the board and rest assured that you will be very satisfied with an HRC kit. There's a reason why HRC is the first name to come to mind when it comes to 420A turbo power. They know what they're doing.

Spend some time in the search here looking up info on turbo kits and you'll learn a shitload. We'll see you around.

I suggest you familiarize yourself with the car better by getting alot of the scheduled maintenance done (fluids, belts, etc).
