Posted by Turbo Red GS, Jul-08-01 05:16 AM
i have a star stage II, and i have the rods and pistons already. i am buying clutch also now. but i was wondering has anybody out there upgraded to be running like 15 lbs a day. if so what have you done, i know we need upgraded ignition, and better injectors, is there anything else. any help would be helpful, also anybody out there know what it cost to install rods and pistons. thanks for all your help!

I dont plan to add sh*t except race gas, injectors, AFC and lower the FMU ratio. All done except the racegas and injectors.

Since I cant use photopoint IMAGINE THIS:
Star turbo with E-trim and HKS BOV
Starion FMIC/2.5" piping
Joe P MBC
Apexi SuperAFC
Ross Pistons/total seal rings
Ported and matched intake manifold
AFX 55mm TB, FMM and UDP
2.5" downpipe back exh/Hayame muffler
Crane wires/Denso Iridium plugs
Centerforce DF clutch
KYB AGX struts/ST springs, UPR FSB, F&R camber kits
17" ADR lightnings/toyo FZ4 215/45/17
97' eclipse front end/projectors
Autometer gauges
Panasonic head unit/ Sony X-over
MB Quarts all around/JL stealth sub
Hifonics/MTX Thunder amps
XX brand alarm/Varad hyper green led

I run 15psi all day everyday and beat anything in sight :) I would recommend getting the Vortech Super FMU, It's by farr the best fuel tunning device. Along with that you should for sure get an electronic Fuel Pressure gauge to put inside the car so you can monitor the SFMU fuel pressure. A modded A/F gauge is good too. I have 550 injectors and I think there a little big....I had the 440's and they just were'nt big enough for 15psi on the T3-T04E Turbo....550's are very rich. I believe 500cc's are the best of choice for 15psi of daily driving. other than that I do also have the Apex'i Super AFC and that also is very good for tunning. And finally I have two fuel pumps: Walbro 255 HP (Star) and Accell Inline (HRC) That's just the Fuel portion of my setup :D

Hey Stan: I've herd Iridium plugs and race fuel do not mix (They Foul out) Just run the NGK BKR7E's ;-) They come pre-gapped to .35 and that's what I run.
