i reputable member of the board is selling me a set of web regrind cams. now, i did my searching on here and from everything i gather i would need to shim for regrinds. but, he insists i don't. i'm just looking for some further info. btw, i called web and they said they don't know.

anyone, i am waiting for an answer on this, here are the specs on the cams, exhaust-211346 675* Intake 231286 673*, maybe someone has them or can find somewhere where i can tell what size shim i would need. please help

SHIM DEM BITCHES! i had regrind stockers from a very reputable shop and i had to shim like a mofo! .060 and higher in some places. the only /best way to do it is to drop your lash adj. in with the cam in place and measure the gap with a feeler gauge. then add .015 to that for the pre-load thats supposed to be there and shim accodingly. i had fun with this a long time ago and can help ya out if needed. just holler

thanks. i called web again today and got someone else this time. they gave me a number to call with the specs and said they can tell me exactly what shims i need.
