Everything is tapped and plugged in but no play. The back light turns on and off in synch with the headlights but the dial doesnt move after the car heats up.

7130, RE: Greddy EGT or anybody with an EGT Posted by cyan, Jul-13-01 04:48 PM if you wanna test to see if its your 12V connection just run the wire to the positive battery terminal. if you get a reading, you know your wiring wasnt 12 volts before. if you get no reading your probe is bad, cause you cant NOT get a 12V current when connected directly to the currents source. if it works when you do this you can leave it connected this was and interrupt the battery-to-gauge wire with a switch, so you can turn the gauge on or off with the switch.
