I'm sure there are enough people with the 034 EIC to answer all your questions. Very soon, I should have a very similar setup as you...8.8:1 long rod, Crane 14's, HRC turbo, EIC.

I do too. And just as info, if you are getting the updated software version 034, then there are a few perameters that have changed from the old software. Don't know who else has this updated version, but the newer 034's cannot use the older softare..If these new perameters are not set right, then it makes initial tuning very frustrating..Already went though that :)

Have you written something up to address that, Matt. I've read some stuff about you encountering the problem. Is it in an old post?

i should have a 8 injector setup going in a few weeks but its controlled by the smt-6 from Turbo tune it also uses a 3 bar map sensor that can adjust it self to different boost so ur car is always tuned even if u change ur boost levels up and down

The 034 will do this too. You set a certain injector scaler #, and this represents your maximum injector duty cycle at max pressure(around 24 psi on the 034 2 bar map), and max set rpm limit. From there, it interpolates the duty cycle down to whenever you set your extra set of injectors to fire...You can then fine tune your fuel in a pressure vs. rpm grid, with around 5-6 horizontal grids ranging in around 5 psi increments.

Jason: I did post about the software change in an older post, but have since figured everything out perfectly..dont know if all the correct info is in that post. I can post a screen shot of how its set now, with the only changes others would have to make other than my settings, would be their scaler#.. Also, I have seamless transition into boost..

I've got an 8-inj with the 034 installed and running. Don't have the turbo installed yet, but the fuel system is working.

I'm in the 034 eic club too. I have stockers and 44lb secondarys.. Hey Matt that new software you are speaking of, is it an upgrade or just different? If it is an upgrade, what improvements were made?

From what Javad told me(sells the 034), the newer ECU's are flashed to only work with the new software. You can't mix and match the ECU's and software..But everything is pretty much the same, except for 2 of the perameter settings. On the OLD version, you have a "# of cylinders" setting, and "# of phases" setting. These have been replaced with "triggers per rev", and "triggers per injector"..I don't know if its really an upgrade or not, but so far, its seems to me that these two new perameters may give more tunability options over the older software, but for our applications, its prob not that relevant..The way mine is set now, it's pretty much mimicking the old software version..from what I can tell anyway. So far, comparing my settings, esp the "scaler" setting, it seems like my scaler # is set lower than others using the same primary/secondary injectors as me..Right now i'm running 15 psi boost on 315cc secondaries, and stock primaries, and my scaler is at 6.0xx..and I am still pretty darn rich(richer than 11.5:1 anyway)

Quick question Matt. Were you running the original software when you got your eic then decided to upgrade your software or did you jump right into things with the new software? If there are advantages to the newer version i'll download it yesterday.

No, I recently purchased the 034, which is meant to run on the new software revision. I asked Javad about using the old software version on it, and he said you could not, since the 034 is flashed to work with the new software. If you download the software, its most likely the new version...which can only be used on the new 034 ecu flash.

See, this is where i think the big difference is between software versions..how it fires the injectors and how it sees the "trigger" signal. The way i have it set, is that the 034 is reading off of the stock tach signal, which is giving 4 pulses per crankshaft revolution, to the 034. If you look at the perameter, "triggers per rev", its set to 2. It has to be set to 2, otherwise, the 034 doesn not read the correct rpm. Now, the next perameter was the one that was confusing. "triggers per injector"- if its set to 2, this means that the 034 will fire all the injectors EVERY OTHER trigger, which in this case, will be ONCE per crank revolution. If this number is set to "1", it will fire all injectors EVERY trigger, which would be TWICE per crank rev. Javad says that this is how the old software fired the injectors, but i'm not sure i believe that. I have tried to set it to "2", which only fires the injectors once, but i had the scaler set really high, like 9.xx, and still needed some fuel..

I just installed the AEM UEGO wideband gauge, and currently at 15 psi, with that screen shot of numbers, i'm still at around 11.0:1 A/F ratio..those 2 pulses of the injectors per crank rev is giving plenty of fuel alright haha..

Jason, can you get a screen shot of your setup? Are you SURE its the new version? I'm not sure how long its been out really..

I see what you're saying Matt. I guess my screen may look more like the second screenshot, but instead has the query of injector phases instead of crank phases.

I'll see if I can get a screenshot sometime.
