he couldn't have said it any better. search. it's quite nice how many things you can find with the search. oh and one more thing that i think just about every single person on this board will tell you, ditch the t-25 ASAP. it sucks hardcore.

I have 2 basic models, 1 with the garrett T3 flange and 1 with the mitsubishi flange
for a t3/t4 you need the one with the garrett flange
and I sold more of those than the mitsubishi

you have:
t25, smic, 1gbov

You need:
Ic piping, fuel lines, sfmu, fuel pump, fuel injectors(depending on desired boost level),boost guage, egt guage, custom exhaust manifold, custom downpipe.

t3/t4 turbo-
Downpipe flange-
exhaust Manifold
Sfmu-
boost gauge-
Egt Gauge-
fuel preassure gauge-
Blow off valve-
a-piller gauge mount
external Wastegate-
Wastegate dump pipe-
walboro 255lph fuel pump
oil feed line etc.
Oil drain line etc.
Spearco intercooler core
intercooler piping couplers
exhaust,intercooler piping(Glasspack18inch ,3inchflexsection,, exhaust bends
intercooler bends)

Thats what I came up with for mine so far..if that helps..and yeah I was gunna snag a manifold from alain to cause he seems to kick ass. Hope that helps..

there is nothing wrong w/ a t25, IF you plan on keepin teh boost low.
people say ditch the t25, but what does a t25 boost on a stock 2G? 11 psi iirc, and i doubt an OEM would use a turbo outside of its efficiency range

however, if you plan on doing a low CR rebuild, then yeah, ditch teh t25.

thank you for an answer. i did search but i always get such vague results. i know i should "ditch" the T-25, but im only planning on boosting 7psi. so i think it will hold for now. and i dont think i will need new injectors at that level of boost. plus the T-25 is practically free, so you cant go wrong with that. i plan on going to this muffler shop that does some good custom work for the pipes. sorry, may sound like a newbie, but whats a sfmu? and what about oil lines? thanks for your help

an sfmu is an acronymn(sp) for super-fuel management unit. Made by vortech. lets you adjust your fuel according to boost.

and theres many a turbo on ebay you can find for 250 dollars or less that are better than the t-25. Free IS better than 250 but just a suggestion.

ya kno, a t25 is not that much smaller then a 14b.....

It has no growth room down the road... unlike the 14B which can do crazy things.
You need oil lines to run to your turbo. I don't know if a T25 is water cooled or not, but if it is you will need to work out a water injection system too. If you go to www.dsmtuners.com/ and look in the articles, turbo/nitrous tech I think, and then look at the turbo system install you will get a comprehensive parts list as to everything that comes in HRC's kit as well as a few pointers on rigging up your oil system.

water cooling and water injection is really not the same thing

water cooling a turbo is really easy we have the return hose right above the manifold and the send hose just below on the right

I remember reading ner 947's post on watercooling the turbo I think. What were the drawbacks? I think someone said it made your car run a little hotter? or something during the summer?. I was kinda interested in it.

thanks ive read that a couple times. what things are application specific, and which are unirversal or i can make them work with a little fabricating? besides the manifold. oh and will an Apexi S-AFC work instead of the vortec thing? thanks

no SAFC will not work as a main fuel tuning unit a on our cars
it could help if combined to a SFMU as a fine tuning option
