70367, low comp - compression test
Posted by xtrickedeclipsex, May-04-04 08:54 PM
I just wanted to make sure this is cool...

I have Low comp je 8:8 pistons, total seal rings.
cyn 1- 165
cyn 2- 165
cyn 3- 155 - 160
cyn 4 -165

Does that sound about right for 8:8 pistions?

Those are the numbers I have with forged pistons (8.8) and a TTI racing head gasket. My car is a bit sluggish off the start :(

I think those are a little on the low side..enough to be worried, prob not..I get around 185-190 on all 4..even right after about 100 miles on the motor..Since you were using total seal rings, I would expect slightly higher numbers than what you got. Was this test done FULLY WARMED UP?? If not, then that is just fine for your numbers..

i would say fully warmed up is around 200-205 deg right? ....
The motor was about 170 deg when test was done - and it was about 68 deg out side...

i thinking once i do it at 200 deg it would read diffrent
