70332, Is this turbo too small for my set-up (Inside)

BTW, I no longer have my RS-T or my GST, I have a 1995 Lexus SC300 5 spd, 3.0

I have a local guy in town who is offering to build me a custom turbo set-up and I was just wondering what you guys thought about the turbo size

Supposedly it is a brand new turbo for a GN

he says that it's a te03-48-60

What the hell does that mean? When comparing the actual center section with my old t-25, it's bigger but I"m a little hesitant at this point. Help me out guys!

Don't have the stock Eclipse anymore
Just a stock Gsr now, :)

i would think that means its a t3 with a .48ar exhaust side and 60 trim compressor side, which is a very good fast spooling turbo for 2gnts but i would think for a 3L that it would be to small unless your looking into running a twin setup then i would think that they would be good turbos to use, on a twin setup that would probably make huge power up top.

Hmmm
That's what I thought also, but he says that it's for a Grand National and aren't those things like a 3.8?

oem turbos are lame and made purely for low end torque, usually gutless at high rpms/not efficient for much more boost... I dont know if this is the case with GN's but anyway

I believe that Motofool was using GN turbo's on his kits. You could email any of the 3 or 4 guys he sold those to and see how they are doing. Im sure it is a good turbo.
