I have been reading alot of talk on here about wide band o2 setups. My question is, exactly what are they, i understand they use another o2 sensor, but is it what shows your ration like 14.7:1. If I'm wrong please correct me as I think this will be one of my next purchases.

you are right! its the only REAL way to tune your car to the optimal A/F ratio. the narrow band is what your factory o2 signal uses but thats only of MARGINAL use during wide open throttle. wide band readings are true at any throttle point.

another question, i found one for a motorcycle, but it runs on 12v and comes with the o2 sensor and display which is why i think it might be possible for this to work on a car, i mean i don't see why not, but i could be wrong. the reason i was asking is because it is only $250. what are your opinions?

the first and formost thing i can think of is the sensor would be completly different. i dont know anything about bikes and widebands, but would imagine the motors are different enough to not make them interchangable or at least they would have different enough requirements for differnt types of widebands. i could be wrong tho.
but for an extra $100 you can get the same thing i have, thats designed for cars, and has the tech support, and not have any worries!
