Custom setup , fmic, garret to4b, apexi bov, piping blah blah blah,.....
I need these answered seriously from a DEFINATE point of view, i cant afford to blow my motor on a long trip back home....
1 do i def need a FPR? 2 do i need to use different injectors? ( i have replacement 450 cc rc injectors for the turbo Talon i would just use resitors if i needed to use them and cant use stock injectors)
I have stock internals and a few small mods to the talon, nothing big or serious, ill only be boostin about 5 to 7psi and prolly not making more than about 250 lol.
I also forgot , i have an SAFC can i just use that to tune my fuel? and do i need to get the missing link?
If i can i would like to get the car back up to my house after the turbo install, save money to buy bigger injectors, put in the injectors , walboro 255 pump and the FPR when i get it.....Will this be all ok???please let me know asap, from as many of u as i can!
Thanks alot guys in advance.

if the talon is a 95 no need for the missing link.... you will be fine on 5-7 psi... I would opt . for 6 and you would be making like 220 . You dont need any fuel mods at this point . However i do think you need a s-fmu . Correct me if im wrong .

SFMU do u mean the FPR? or what is the difference? SAFC/fuel manager? lol
And ur saying i need no fuel upgrades including the 450 cc injectors, or walboro pump?
i also have the 96 esi, will i need the missing link for the map sensor?
Is there anything i am missing for this? Thanks in advance guys , and for the help.

SFMU or FMU, it's a rising rate fuel pressure regulator. Under positive manifold pressure(boost) it raises fuel in increments. You'll probably need a 12:1 if you're going to stay with stock injectors. I would suggest putting the pump in also, to keep up with the higher fuel pressures you'll be running. I just happen to have an electronic fuel pressure gauge, and 12:1 FMU for sale, $175 plus shipping and they're both yours.

1. Yes you need some type of FPR. You will probably want to get a SFMU at some point down the road if you don't get one right away.
2. You can you use your stock injectors, or you could use the 450's, that's your call. You may want to just stick with the stockers since your running low boost.
3. You can use your SFAC to tune your fuel, but I wouldn't put alot of stock in it for a 2GNT. There are some glitches with our cars and SFAC's - you'll have to get specific info from someone else, I don't have one, I've just heard that on the board several times before.
4. If you definately have a 96 you'll want the ML - takes seconds to install.
5. Do a search, welcome to 2GNT :thumbsup

Autometer 2 1/16th white face black bezel. It's used, I'm not sure for how long. I bought it used from someone on this board, but I don't need it anymore.
