hey guys, quick question. i just bough a new wastegate, 38 MM Tial wastegate. direct flange replica as my old crappola p.o.s Turbonetics Deltagate. i was wondering, inside the package, there is this metallic O-Ring. i guess it fits in the inlet flange of the wastegate, whats the purpose of that?? do i need it or not?? and what significant difference will it do to my boost? the wastegate is 8psi, i have a Greddy Profec B boost control i may be goin at least 15psi. thanks

its like a hub-centric ring on a rim, it seals the wastegate plunger against the manifold. Make sure and install it as flush as possible, mine was cocked a little bit and it blew through a $8 gasket in 24hrs.

what exactly makes the deltagate craptastic? I've heard this said before im just curious to see how valuable an upgrade to tial would be (stacked against alternatives like EGT/other stuff I should have)
