i dont really know the difference between the two...but alot of people use the sfmu...and i am using the fmu. Im rebuilding my motor and upgrading my fuel and igntion system. Can i stick with the fmu? also using 440cc's, safc, and 255lph with a fuel booster

The fmu relies on your stocl FPR to regulate the fuel while you are off boost.
The SFMU replaces youir stock one so it regulates in vac and boost.
For injectors that large you will not be able to idle with the Safc alone, well maybe you could but I would not recommend it. The SFMU will make it a lot easier.

Go with the s-fmu i just changed and now have 440s=much better.
