ok i need something to control my fuel pressure. what should i use to control my fuel pressure. im really not sure if i should get a walbro 190 or the 255. what else should i use. what does the star kit come with to control there fuel pressure. what are most of the people here using here on 2gnt. i have a custom kit. thanks in advance.

You need a rising fuel pressure regulator to "control your fp." the walbro 190 or 255 have nothing to do with directly controlling your fp. The star uses the vortech fmu.

which fmu does it use. would the standard fmu be sufficent enough? or would i need something else?

You'll just have to choose the right ratio disk with the FMU. You'll also want the Walbro 255 high-pressure pump as a minimum. But, I wouldn't copy Star's fuel setup. It is marginal, at best. I would copy HRC's fuel system, except adding the S-FMU instead of the Cartech FPR.

i'm surprised he made it that far w/o a response like that. to be totally honest w/ you there is unlimited amounts of reading you need to do on this forum before you invest in something that could melt your engine. these are all questions that have been answered time and time again. i'm just trying to be helpful

If you wanted to be helpful, you would have told him to not even bother turboing his car until he notices the difference between fuel control and fuel set up. Dude, do yourself and the car a favor and do more reading.

hey just to let you know i do know the difference between fuel control and my fuel setup!! and i have read the post and have done my research maybe just not well enough. ill admit that. the subject changed to fuel setup when i was told i should have my fuel setup like hrc. that wasn't my 1st question though. and y i mentioned which pump i should get was based on weather or not a 190 would flow wnough fuel or if i would need something bigger. so don't talk if u don't know what i was intending!!
