i read that i was supposed to cut off the one nipple on my fuel pressure regulator in order to adjust with the SFMU....my question is why did i do it, i just want to know why it works.....does it just bypass the regulator somehow? all i was supposed to do was cut it off flush correct? thanks

Well what you are doing is making the original factory regulator act as a fitting for the fuel rail. The regulaor no longer has the ability to restrict fuel...it acts like a typical everyday fitting. The good part is if you ever return to stock you can buy another used factory regular and install it. :)

alright...thats what i thought....next question...do i just block off the vaccuum port then? i would think so, but just making sure..thanks

Yeah, you won't need to run vaccuum to it anymore - but you don't need to cap it or anything if thats what you're askin. You can just let it sit there....just make sure that you plug the port on the manifold when you do that so you don't have a vac leak.
