I always wonder if people are serious or not when they make posts like this (no offense).

You will need fuel mods to do anything with that. Your goals will certainly affect which fuel system you choose.

I suppose you will fully rebuild the head and get a multi-angle valve job too, right? It'd be a shame not to do that at the same time.

Now I'd expect the AFX ECU to dissagree with the Star Stage II. I'd expect that whatever changes they made to the fueling and advance curves would not be ideal for the turbo.

I'd also expect that the Crane 18's might not be ideal for the turbo. Isn't that more of a drag, N/A, high compression cam? I've never used it, so I can't comment too much.

You might check out the Retro-fit or Quaife LSD. I'm sure a search would yeild info on these.

All I can say is that the 14's are labeled the "turbo" cam. The 18's may work great on a turbo car, but I wouldn't expect them to. If its a N/A drag cam, I'd expect it to have alot of overlap. Turbo cams often minimize overlap to keep you from blowing your fuel/air mixture right out the exhaust ports. But, I have limited cam experience...my Crane 14's are still in the box. There is a decent discussion on the different cams in the Advanced Tuning section, though.

yeah i think this is all in his head... he's just planning it out... which is perfectly fair/acceptable.

arent the AF/X computers bad for turbocharged applications?
