69335, Muffler opinions? Posted by dougie2, Apr-18-04 06:05 PM
I need a new muffler with a 3" inlet. I've looked at quite a few but whould like some opinions. I don't want a "cat-back system", just a muffler with 3" inlet. I really don't want to spend more that $150 or so. What do you guys think?

My Magnaflow sounded mean when KS was turbo. Real deep tone to it.

Try a Ractive muffler. Cheap, and they sound super bitchin.

That's my problem, I can't find many with 3" inlets. My exhaust is a full turbo-back 3" with no cat, no resonator, nothing but straight pipe. I want to keep exhaust flow high to complement the 20g turbo. I'm thinking about adding maybe a flowmaster 6" round ss muffler in the middle and a nice tip at the rear. Or maybe just a muffler with a tip at the rear. :shrug

the apexi n-1 is a great exhaust.....I don't know how much just the muffler would cost but it won't be too cheap...

Can you buy just the muffler part of the Greddy Evo exhuast? I don't know if you can or not, but it's definitely 3 inches.
