if you think the 20g makes that 16g look little...you shoulda seen the pics of my t3/t4 50trim next to a 16g...maybe i can find it somewhere...its sick..

Got everything torqued down except for the downpipe and IC piping. Then I'll change the oil, see if it runs, and if everything is cool I'll fabricate the 3" exhaust. :)

Thanks. I got everything finished except for the exhaust. I did start her up though with just the 3" downpipe and I gotta say damn! This thing is turning into a real monster. The 20G is one screaming bitch! I'm happy. :)

let us know how it drives, because I"m looking to go with s20g also. Will HRC do a trade with the S16g?

You give HRC you're S16G and $500 and you'll get a S20G back.

Dougie.....looking at your pics, I would not recommend using that exhaust maifold gasket. Get the MLS one. It costs a bit more, but it wont blow through like that one. I blew through 2 or 3 of those before I got the MLS.

Just trying to save you a bit of potential trouble.

+1. I had the same problem w/ that gasket. Looks like its a little to late now that everything is bolted up. If you havent run the oil return and tightened up the dp i'd recommend changing it out while its still easy. nice pics and setup though

Yeah it's too late now, everything is done. I was worried about that gasket. How long did you guys run it before it blew? I hope a couple of weeks at least!

As long as you keep the boost very low it wont blow. I had mine on for about a week before the DSM Shootout w/6psi. At the Shootout, I went for a drive with a fellow 2GNT'er and at 12-14 psi it blew. Sounded like ass for the 6 hour trip home.


I know that I had the forst one blow at lower than 12-14psi though. I say bite the bullet and swap it out.
