Okay I know there has been some topics that were on this issue but I searched and the question never got answered. I have 30lb. injectors that I will be installing soon and I know that the idle pressure 22PSI of fuel but I am boosting 5PSI right now so I will need to know how much PSI of fuel to set my Vortech at WOT. So POINTS to whoever can tell me what the PSI should be at WOT but it has to be the correct answer and not just guessing. Thanks in advance. :thumbsup

hmmm so which one is it then? Do you have the link for that old post? 45PSI sounds kinda low and the last thing I want to do is run lean. Both of you guys are very experienced so I hope you guys understand the importance of this. :thumbsup

Some tuning advice to you. Don't be concerned with the exact PSI of fuel pressure you need. That can be fine tuned later on. That, and each car/motor is different in their own way, so what works for one person, may not for the next, but may take fine tuning. Going off of memory, anywhere from 45-55 psi will be a good start. ALWAYS start off rich, and at a higher fuel pressure than what you need. Its much safer, and much easier to tune this way. So i would run around 60 psi first, the check your EGT's at WOT, in a high gear(pref 4th if manual, or 3rd auto/ OD OFF) on the highway, and check your o2 voltages. You want EGT's to be around 1500-1550, and stay there at WOT. If your EGT's are cooler than this, then lower your fuel pressure by 3-4 psi, and do it again. This is how i pretty much tune, along with listening VERY carefully to the motor for any breakup, or detonation. Keep windows up, and radio off, to help hear the motor. Like i said though, dont be conerned with a set fuel psi level. You need to get a baseline, then tune. Not nearly enough people do this, and they are missing out on potential power that can be made. Dont just throw a disk/ring into the SFMU, and call it a day..very bad way..

45psi should put you in the perfect zone.

anyone don't believe me?.. go to a dyno with a wideband.

Not saying I dont believe you. I was just posting up what I read in the archives. If it wasn't from a mod I wouldn't of said anything. I am trying to get my 30lb injectors right too. I am at 20 idle 60psi on 5 lbs of boost on a 20G and rich as hell right now. Dont mean to offend.

45psi on the 16g will put you about right. you might be a tad close to lean, but that should be about optimal.. of course.. its hard to say cause we dont know everything else done to your car.

60psi @ 5lbs of boost on a 20g is definetly way too rich.
