Stan, Jason, MWC?

How did you mount it to the car. Did you have to modify the little metal pieces that are on the side of the intercooler?

i have a question for you guys too, is there any way any of you guys can get the piping done again for me and sell it to me? i dont think any shops here can or will want to do it, especially not cheap. for instance, stan, when you go get the piping bent, could you get him to bend you two of both pipes and sell me a set as well, you can make whatever profit youd want, just tell me first. if not you, anyone else that gets it before me cause i want a FMIC as soon as im turbod and i can only afford a starion at first

I think most of us had a L-bracket welded on to the top middle of the intercooler just like the STAR inercooler has. Then, using the bolt hole already provided from the hood latch, you can mount it there. I had three holes drilled into the L-bracket at different levels, so I could have the intercooler mounted exactly flush with the bottom of the bumper reinforcement.

As for piping, you may want to try and fabricate some of your own. Just buy about 4 U bends and a couple more 90 degree bends, and then cut and weld. I wouldn't think it too hard witha pipe cutter.

What I did too. L braket at the top center and used the factory hole to mount it. If only I did have the piping bent I would have it dublicated but I got mine from someone else. I swear I could do it with U bends and straight pipe, silicons hose, a few silicon reducers and a pipe cutter in half a day if I had too.

so how many different pieces of pipe do you think would be needed for each side? and where can i buy all the bends and piping?

i found a couple that i am gonna try and get a hold of, whichever one is better for the cost, here is the one im looking at now, $150. i think im going to go ahead and get it, mount it and fab the IC -> TB pipe (upper, correct?)
then send them off to be chromed and then ill have only one pipe left to make once i get the turbo kit. who knows if ill take the IC back out after i get it mounted, hehe, i probably wont...im hungry, wheres ben?

oops, here it go:

i used the star stage II piping with no modification. just added the bend on top of one side of the intercooler. had to get piping made for my apex though
