and before anyone says anything... yes, i did use the search.

as far as shot size goes, will all 50 shots (from different brands) put the same amount of power at the wheels?

what are the main differences between brands(wet)

just how many times can a stock motor in good conditions handle being squeezed on (50/60 shot)

just need a general run down

Honestly I don't know. I don't think "shot" is a unit of measure so it could be defined differently between manufacturers but I don't think so. I would think that all the kits would be in the same ballpark (unless it's like a direct port vs single fogger)

The basics of the system are the same. What changes from brand to brand ... everything but the nitrous and the fuel. The solenoids will be different, the pieces of hoses and fittings can be different, the bottle can be different. But it reality it's pretty much the same. There are some major differences in fogger designs but if you're not going insane it's all the same (unless you get into the computer controlled nitrous kits)

That's kinda up in the air. If the runs are few and far between probably a while as long as nothing else goes bad. If you beat on it constantly by doing back to back runs probably not nearly as long.

From what I have noticed a nitrous kit will include the follow ...

Nitrous bottle
bottle nut adpater
nitrous feed line (SS VERY HIGH pressure)
nitrous solenoid
fogger nozzle
fuel solenoid
SS lines from solenoids to fogger
SS line for fuel feed
WOT switch with bracket (momentary switch)
Relays
Power switch
assorted fittings
wiring
nitrous/fuel jets

Most of the stuff listed is fairly general. Everyone has their own solenoids, foggers, and jets. There rest are really just the same. Most people seem to get NX kits (Sport Compact wise anyways). NOS is a holley brand and is pretty good (I have a bunch of NOS stuff). Venom makes the electronic controlled kits. Then everyone else like edlebrock, Zex, etc. If you're looking into one I'd suggest either NX or NOS.
