68523, help with FMU and safc Posted by paradigm shift, Apr-06-04 11:18 AM
Hey guys, need a little advice...
bascially i have a star Stage I and added a starion ic. My fuel system consists of walboro 255, regular fmu with whatever the stage 1 disk is, 30lb injectors and an s-afc. Whenever im in boost, my egts raise very quickly and wont stop until i let off. I dont know what my fuel pressures are (star kit)...any advice to get this thing more fuel?? It it even possible to run decent with this setup? i really dont have the $ for the sfmu...
thanks for your help

What kind of boost are you running? You should really set up a FP guage even if it is just a mechanical one from under the hood. You also need to know exactly wich calibration disk you are using in your fmu. I am a sfmu user so I dont know exactly about the diff. fmu disks but if you give more info I am sure someone can giude you more. I believe the disk the fmu comes with is 12:1. The high egts could be lack of fuel or too much fuel. What do you have your s-afc set at?
