wow. i just came back from my boy's shop and i just seen the sickest eclipse. i don't know if you guys ever seen this swap but its my fist time and i was hyped. it was a 95 eclipse with a EVO 3 swap! i was like whoa. it had a 20G and intercooled. he took it out first a test drive and that shit was flying! so yeah. i just wanted to share my experience with the beast.

Was it a 420a before the swap....

it says it was a gs-t

are you sure he didnt install and evo 3 16G? this is much more believeable. EVO motors are turned differently.

Actually, when I got there it had the evo 16G but the 20G was on its way for installation. It was sitting on the back seat. Umm. It was a 4G63. It was my first time seeing a EVO 3 swap so I was surprised.

that sounds preety cool! soo it wasn't modified to all wheel drive and if it wasn't do u know how they made just front wheel drive? and not all evo's are like that i think that its just for the evo 8!

They used the stock tranny that came with the car.

Friend of mine has an EVO engine in his 95 GS-T. He has a built bottom end and a 18/20G turbo, but he's getting a bigger one...it's nice.

He has traction for the most part, he'll be getting more of it to the ground in the near future. I just made my post to say that I've seen the engine in a gs-t before, not to give away his whole setup. If he wants to do that, he can get on here. My car's nothing new either, just a 97 GS with a Star Stage II...it gets me around, I like it.

Not the evo 1-3. They face the same way (it's the same motor) as a USDM Diamond Star.

Evo I-III are 1G 4G63T motors. These swaps into the 2G Turbos are becoming more and more common due to Magnus Motorsport's method of the 1G to 2G motor swap.

The Evo IV-VIII are the 4G63T motors that are rotated and would cause chaos in swapping into a 2G due to namely, placement of the tranny.
