when I shift under boost (from 0-8psi doesn't matter) it makes a errrrrrr sound, not ALWAYS, but most of the time. I don't get it. it just started doing this on friday. the sound is in addition to the bov's noise... the bov is blitz super sound. could this be compressor surge? I searched on compressor surge and that was described as a fluttering... sound seems to be coming from somewhere other than the bov b/c i still hear the bov.

EDIT: the sound is kinda constant while the rpm's drop... slowly fading away

oil it? its less than 3,000 miles old... and where would you apply the oil too?

I think he meant rub a little oil over the piston inside it.

well the sound doesn't seem to be coming from the bov. b/c it still sounds normal. the sound is present in addition to the normal sound of the bov... they occur simotaneously

i get it too. its normal. enjoy it.

enjoy it? it sounds bad! as in not good... but it wasn't doing it today so maybe it was a fluke... i hate my car

well yea, i wasnt kidding...but all you gave me was that it was happening when the blow off valve was....so i thought maybe the piston inside needed some lovin lube, and yes. you can oil your blow off valve, i used 3 in 1 oil on my rfl before i took the loud fucker off, just rub it on the piston inside (moving meta on metal parts like lube obviously)

any more input as to what you can say about this 'eerrrrr''?

well... theres a Puhpuhphhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh sound with mine... only comes when I'm driving really hard

i dont know if thats the same as errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
