Okay guys here it goes. Today I went to a place about 2 hours away from me that is a tuner shop. It is called Auto Addictions and it is in Allentown PA. Anyway, they will be doing my alignment for me (YIPPI FINALLY!) and then I started talking to them about turboing my car and if they could do it or not. They said they can depending on what kit I am getting. So I mentioned Hahn and Star. He didn't know about Star to much and said he would not do a Hahn install anymore becasue they are always missing parts in the kits. He told me GREDDY..yes GREDDY is coming out with a kit for our cars soon. He didn't say an exact time or anything like that but he said it would probably be 50 state legal also. I am interested in the 50 state legal part. Hope it's not just a rumor. See ya guys sorry for such a long post.

My Hahn kit came complete with all the pieces. Even if there was the chance that they missed a piece, they would overnight it to you so its there the next morning.

Greddy DOES make a Turbo kit for the Eclipse.... That is if you own a GS-T of a GSX :-) Check the GREDDY ad. on the back of Turbo Magazine. They squeezed the eclipse turbo upgrade kit in there along with Honda Turbo kits...

My HRC kit came with everything I needed to install it.

Super street (or turbo) accidently stated Greddy had a turbo kit coming out for NT eclipses while reporting a SEMA show a few yrs ago. In the editorial corrections they stated Greddy had gotten so many phone calls about it they were considering making a turbo kit for the NT. I guess they tested the waters a bit with the header first. But who knows. If they are its taking them long enough. You can almost Garuantee it will come with an 18G Mitsu turbo if it ever does come to market.

I've heard about this years ago... they gave me a phone number to call for an inquiry because they were looking for a donor to prototype. The number I called was a bay area number and the guy I spoke to (this was a long time ago) told me that yes.. it will be in the making based on demand. he described it to me.. if I remember right.. it included a tdo4- 18G turbo, manifold, piping, fuel pump, and bov for 1500.00. Same as the greddy kit for civics. I never called them again.. and never heard anything pertaining to this again til now.

On the back of the Turbo mags ( I think ) it says something like... by the end of this year there will be 5 new 50 state legal turbo kits avaliable...and they all will include injectors, and new ECU up grade. Something like that. I have to go and look. What cars did they forget to make a turbo kit for??? I'm guessing / hopeing us:-)

they need kits for us as well as a few other cars, but i cant count 4 others, so i guess its a good possibility that ours is in the lineup. think about it this way, which cars are out there with MORE demand than us for a turbo kit that dont already have one?

I'm with you on that (and I think the $1500 will go up as will the 92-95 civic kit which is being updated like the newer kits with FCU and injectors). But who knows the Miata kit Greddy kit is also dirt cheap. A $1000 intercooler would only make it $2500 but I dont believe they will sell a $1500 for the eclipse. I would anticipate something closer to the SI/GSR kit. I'm pretty sure miata kits out sell 2GNT kits by a sh*t load and there are at least half a dozen turbo kits and another couple supercharger kits for the miata. But besides civics, integras and miatas we must be next in line for turbo kit demand. neons too.

I agree that they will make the price a bit more then others like Star and Hahn, but I doubt $1000 more. They want to sell these kits, so I'm guessing that it will probably be the same as the Si/GSR kits, if not $100-300 more.

Yeah I heard something about that. But you know Greedy Greddy though, it would probably cost way more than a Star and a Hahn put together :P Go for the NewEdge kit when it comes out.
