OK everyone, good news... I stripped down my Big 16G, and she is repairable... And I found a compressor wheel and housing on dsmtrader for $90... And because I have spare Big16G parts laying around I will have everything I need Friday to put the biatch back together... yay. :cheers
And also... while the turbo was off I was working on my Megasquirt install... I have the MS in the car! The wiring is about halfway done... and will be completed this weekend...
I will probably have to wait till next weekend to fire her up though because I need a new 7cm turbo gasket... anyone have one spare???
So I'll keep everyone updated... the time is near...:thumbsup

how do you plan on balancing the turbo?? mixing and matching parts is not a bad idea but you may not want to over look this step

Same way I did last time... ;) BTW, I found out the turbo died because I had too much oil flow... was causing oil to blow by the turbine side seal on deceleration... and this caused an coked oil buildup on the turbine side... kinda hard to explain... but on top of that it seems a chunk of material disapeared fromt he comp wheel... thus throwing it off balance and wearing out the bearings in no time... doh!
