I want to purchase a full turbo kit through hahn's, but they are saying that they will not accept a credit carrd for payment, but a money order or certified check... I dont feel comfortable sending THAT through the mail. Using a credit card provides security.

Anyone else ever run into this problem?

I never understood why HRC does that. I ordered my kit through a shop and just wrote the shop a check.

If you have a cc from your bank, with a mastercard or visa logo, they will since it will come out of your account and when they process it will let them know immediately if the funds are available. I had to get one since they would not take my cc either before.

If I remember correctly, it's because they are charged fees for accepting credit card payments. I paid the extra fee ($60 I think) and they let me pay with a CC. This was about 2 years ago though.

It's a problem with ppl ordering their kit with a cc, getting fast ass shipping, getting the product before hahn can collect from said cc company and cu disputing charges and getting credit back. If you have to use a cc then order it through someone else.

They accept CC's, just not on turbo kits.

Full turbo kits are the only thing that they will not accept a cc payment for. My thoughts were ordering half now and the rest the end of the week... or ask about the debit card thing, but well see what happens today.

$3000 worth of fast food = youll end up :puke ing

I bought my kit through HRC w/ a CC :shrug:

Lori Hahn just asked that i split the transaction fees w/ them and it was done.

That's why I bought my kit through RRE. They had RRE open a retail account, and wouldn't give them any vendor discounts. I guess Mike W. had a talk with them about it and now RRE does not sell HRC stuff anymore :)

just send them a check or MO, i did, and i didnt run into problems...although i did call them every two days to make sure they recieved the check.

i got a cashier's check and mailed it overnight
