I'm a complete moron and I did it. I haven't had any problems to this day. As long as you have the right tools then you should have no problem. We're all here to help you out too. The HRC instructions are pretty thorough and if you search around on here you'll learn a lot that'll help you along the way.

I'm not a moron but let's just say I learned how to change my oil 9 months before I installed the kit by myself. You need tools (believe me, it's really important). I recommend breaking up the install. I started, one week end at a time, first with the in tank fuel pump, then inline fuel pump, all the electronics. Then once those are done, tackle the actual oil, manifold, turbo, etc... Goodluck and the stock manifold part is a total bitch to get off. I paid the muffler guy $20 to loosen the manifold bolts.

nothing like driving with the windows down and the music low: i love hearing the turbo spool, swwwhhhttt!!!! thanks for www.kaptainmyke.com for the sig hosting :thumbsup

you need an oil sending socket.... and a good set of mech's gloves.. probably a impact gun to get the exaust bolts off at the cat. mine had to be heated and use the impact gun to get off...........

while you're waiting for your kit to come in...pick up some 8mm 4G63 exhuast studs and bolts. The provided HRC exhuast bolts can suck my wang imo ;)
You can pick them up from any dealer or RRE.
