66107, Turbo dead... grrr

So I was outside working on the Eclipse today... was working on my Megasquirt install, and i notice an oil leak that I need to take care of on my oil feed line for the turbo... so I take off the intercooler piping to get to it... and I see oil in the intercooler piping.

So now I'm thinking dammit... turbo problem.
It had been smoking slightly latelly so I kinda figured it may have a problem...

So anyway to cut a long story short I pull the intake off and se oil everywhere in the turbo comp housing... so my turbo is shot... grrrr.

It's not totally dead, but bad enough to call it a day. So I just took the damn thing off. So now I gotta rebuild it or buy a new one... problem is the compressor wheel is damaged now so I can;t just do a simple rebuild without getting a comp. wheel as well...

Grrrr.

I think the seals went bad and let oil leak out... after that the main shaft got some end play in it, and the comp wheel is very slightly worn down on the blades...
There is a chunk missing from the one blade also which could have put the turbo out of balance...

Anyone know where I can buy a comp wheel for a Big 16G???

Sigh... I really can't afford a new turbo right now...

damn man, that's some shit huh? that blows donkey dick. i was waiting for you to finally post on the Megasquirt and now that BS happens. sorry bro. i guess you should have someone in your area that specializes in turbo repair to take care of it. i'm sure there's gotta be diesel turbo repair shops around your area. or goto roadraceengineering.com, they got parts for Super 16g's.
