6591, Oil Sandwich adapter size?? Oil Cooler Kit... Posted by HadesOmega, Jun-21-01 12:37 PM I bought a B&M super cooler and apparently it only fits muscle cars. The kit came with the wrong size screw on filter adapter but the sandwich thingie fits. Does anybody have the size of the adapter for those of you who have aftermarket oil cooler kits? Everyone tells me we can use stang filters but aparently only select stangs. It said that the one for Chryslers had extra adapters. I think it's 20mm but not for sure. But the guy at the counter said it would work . When you do get the sandwich adapter on, you'll need a shorter filter...I use the Purolator PL10193.
