With the Star kit,did you have to buy a new flange to weld to the flex OR did you reuse your old flange?..thanks Alvin

if theres nothing wrong w/ your flange just reuse it. i had mine welded in about 5-6"'s away from the flange, reuse it!

I just welded a 6" flex section in where the dp straightens before the flange and used the original flage, once you have a flex section in the dp the flange fits/works perfect.

Just pick a straight section big enough for the flex with enough clearance around it and reuse your flange. Make sure you keep the flange angle the same when you weld in the flex.
