Thats the shit! :thumbsup Our compressor housings are alot different. Yours has alot more flated machined surface. The part where the bolts need to be tapped into on mine is round. Thats still helps alot.

I might end up sendingn you some pics of what I'm talking about if what I try doesn't work. Also, post some pics with the lower intercooler pipe hooked up when you get there. Good work dood! :cheers

What turbo is that? Doesn't look like a S16G. compressor housing is too small.

Whutchu takin 'bout, willis???? thats about as straight line as i can go and not interfear with DP and radiator return and not run that ugly ass blue hose that comes with the kit! its still gravity fed under pressure. You no likey?

i have had it about 6 months, but i bought it new from a guy who had it for about a year or so... i know what you mean. i have seen other 16G's with that funny bend/bolt-to end on the comp housing. its the one from the HRC kit, is your HRC?

you want to avoid any sharp bends or anything on the oil drain, yours looks ok but i wouldnt have done it like that, i would have just went straight down (but thats me) whats wrong with the blue hose it comes with? lol it works perfect :shrug. anyway, yea i have a HRC 16g, check out these pics, i have a SHIT load more but no camera cable x(

His surfaces aren't flat, he made a plate and bolted it to the turbo.

I just noticed the plate. I'm an idiot. NOW it looks like an S16G! LOL When I clocked mine, I didn't use a plate...I jsut welded on a little piece of junk metal, tapped it and bolted up my actuator. He went a different. It's all good! Lookin' good!

The oil drain is fine. It's not easy to have an oil backup, once the oil leaves the berring housing it still has enough pressure to get it into the pan. No big deal.

Ah fuck me! I just noticed that shit. I gotta quit smoking so much. Thats even cooler now and makes shit alot more easier on me. Points for you Aaron!

Hey Tim, what kinda metal is that? and how thick?
65987, RE: ATTN: DIRTY, your clocked turbo pics inside
Posted by tim97rs, Feb-25-04 05:43 PM
im not sure what gauge it is, but its not much thicker than 1/16th, maybe a frogs hair thicker. its just good old fashined steel plate. used a jig saw to cut it all out, and didnt even have to use more than 1 blade!

i filed down that nub on the neck to the same hight as the other flat part, drilled a hole in that and tapped it and what you see is what i got...

need any more pictures?
