64422, 420A running a green?
Posted by MantraXR, Feb-01-04 07:35 PM
Is there anyone whith a boosted 420 running a green? I know what it takes to make it work, just wondering if has been done yet. I did some searching and couldnt find anything. Please drop a link if it has been discussed before. I'm not looking to do it by any means, I just know that its one of the best turbos for DSMs and am curious if someone has installed one on a 420.

the green is one of the most popular in the 4g63 community. it looks like a big 16g but flows some pretty bad ass numbers. it outflows a 20g

I think you would need a custom mani to use it. As far as I know nobody is running one on a 2gnt.

"The FP30 is available in 520hp and 650hp flavors, both direct bolt-ons for your power hungry DSM."

Hmmmmm, so it bolts up to the T25 flange eh? I know there are some 2gnts running or looking to run a custom t25 setup, could be worth using the crappy t25 until you get the $ to buy one of these guys... They make them for a 1g too so one could sport a 14b for a while instead. All hypothetical of course...

I was going to go with a green if I had kept my eclipse. I would have ditched my HRC manifold for a custom piece to get it on there though. There are some other issues like IC piping that I never got far enough along to worry about, but it would be reasonably straight forward.
