shiny things! yay! finally! i got all of my stuff back from ABT Machine in Holliston, MA today. they had it for 16 days. they charged me an arm and a leg for it, but i hear it's worth it because i've heard nothing but good things about this machine shop.

hardware:
1mm oversized valves
Crane valve springs with titanium retainers
Crane adjustable camshaft gears
OEM PT Cruiser rocker arms
Eaton lifters

machine:
cylinder head machined to accept new valves
cylinder head ported
cylinder head resurfaced
all manifolds port matched
exhaust manifold de-warped
install all new valvetrain components
de-ghetto a bunch of crap

box of leftovers. ew!

damn that's awesome...i wish i can afford to do that. that right there is an easy 20-25HP gain and with good tunning probably more. did you also port match the intake manifold outlet to the intake of the head. if so, that's going to be killer. that also will handle boost better at higher RPM's. keep it up man, you're going to have an badass machine real soon.

Looks good man. A bigger turbo and headwork like that is my next move. You need some agressive cams! ;)

yeah, i do. there are a lot of things in my way of getting some decent cams...

1. get inspected/smogged, need to leave stock cams in for that
2. after my AFC was stolen, i decided that i'm not buying another one. DFI, 625's, and a 1:1 regulator are my next major upgrade.
3. after i can actually control my injectors, i will get something nuts like Crower Stage 3 or something excessively aggressive. i could give a crap less about streetability, i want some torque after 5000 rpm's!

That's what I like to hear! I'm so glad I live in Michigan, no smog testing.
