ok this only pertains to socal guys.... i started my rebuild yesterday but two days straight i havent had more than a 4 hour window at any given time. with stupid ass problems with the shop being packed with people to not having an air wrench to not having a ride and whatnot. i NEED some more help guys, the only day i have left to get this done is tuesday and would really appreciate the help. so dan (thedawg) erik (ez) chamuko or projectturbo or whoever see's this and isnt busy on TUESDAY this week, call me....my number is 949-295-2914. i wont be on a computer so i wont be able to check this thread. josiah (skrilla) is helpin me out so im pretty sure we'll pound it out if no one decides to help but i could really use it. i worked for about 3 hours today and started more or less from scratch and all thats left is to yank the motor. so basically what i need is someone to assemble the rest of my longblock while i yank the motor thats in it and clean it up and swap all the shit over. we can do this in NO TIME if there are about 3 2gnt gear heads turnin wrenches. i know you guys have done rebuilds before, so i know you know whats up...and this is my first one. anyway, this post is getting long, and im sure you got the point of why i posted this. i obviously could use some help, so call me up.

p.s- the shop isnt open on mondays for obvious reasons

dood I get outta school at 4 on tuesday, but I can help until late (not too late b/c I have 8:00 classes next morning + work until 7 pm). I think that shop is like 1+ hours away too

they close on tuesday at 9:30 and open at noon

eat me. if i would have actually HAD a day to work and not 4 hours i would have got it out for sure. besides, i also decided to pull it without pulling the tranny or axles so if you can imagine, its rough, but nonetheless...its getting taken care of.

We can pull the motor in 1 day, the problem is the Bullshit with the Marine Base hobby shop and our 1 here, 2 hour there time we were there together.

It will be finished this week though fucker.

haven't had a spare moment at all - freaking class projects/presentations own me. weekdays aren't good for any socal peeps IMO. if you guys are still not finished on the weekend, I can be there for sure.

It's a 2 man 8 hour job, even if you haven't pulled this specific motor out. The first time my cousin and I pulled it and put the new one in, 8 hours with many smoke breaks and about 10 minutes to eat pizza at lunch.
