63757, Which wideband o2 kit are you using?
Posted by dougie2, Jan-18-04 10:46 AM
I'm in the market for one in the $300-$400 range.

What are you using?
Do you recommend it?
What are it's pro and cons?

Thanks...

i'm going to be using this one (DIY-WB.com) shortly as well. i have my UEGO/heater controller completed and i'm waiting on the sensor which is in the mail.

it sucks that the sensor is so much money. after hunting around the internet for over 45 minutes the cheapest one i could find was $185. whatever. it'll be worth it.

I am using the FJO o2 kit with their data logger. The sensor alone costs like 300 or something, but if you want the LED display you'll have to pay a bi more than that.

None yet, but im lookin at the plx.

friend of mine has it on his supra. is as accurate as the wideband the dyno shop used, and replacement sensors are less than $30.

its also not much bigger than the corbin meter, bout the same size but maybe twice as deep. He has it mounted it in the same place that i have the corbin meter (sterring wheel coloumn).

Hey sorry for the hi-jack. but do you guys run the wideband the same way you would run a regular a/f gauge, or is it just on tuning days and not for daily driving?

hrc stage 1, sfmu, ml, prokits, egt, boost gauge, apexi tt, costum dp, dynotune fp gauge. gst muff, turbo spoiler

nothing like driving with the windows down and the music low: i love hearing the turbo spool, swwwhhhttt!!!!
thanks for www.kaptainmyke.com for the sig hosting :thumbsup

my friend has it permanently mounted. the 5 wire o2 sensors will last just as long as any other o2 sensor as long as your not running leaded or race gas.
