I start spooling up at 5000rpm and hit 10psi at 6000rpm, any suggestions why. I have not done the boost leak test, but it hold 10psi fine even in 3rd when i am at wot, it never drops below 10, i just cannot fix this spool up problem. If this has been discussed before, sorry, just lead me to the link b/c i tried the search already and could not get my problem fixed, thanks.

Bcause you have either a boost leak or an exhaust leak before the turbine. You say you haven't checked.. well, why not?

I am buying a manifold from alain today,so it should be shipped on the 27th of this month, when i install that i will check for any leaks along with my wastegate. I guess i need to double check everything and do the boost leak test, thanks.

Exactly.... these are the two main causes of lock of boost or late spool up.... people should always check these areas first.

I sm gonna check my wastegate tomorrow when i take my old oil return line off and put a new one on, so i am gonna double check that

Sorry, i haven't replied in awhile,my internet at home sucks and i use the one i am on now at the hospital where i work. No it is not fixed yet, i checked the wastegate but it seemed fine, i am waiting to replace my manifold an buy a new wastegate, and also waiting on my oil drain flange. I am also buying my internals at the beginning of next month b/c i know my motor is gonna go sooner or later b\c of me driving it so hard and it not feeling right. I ran a 9.730 at my 1/8mile track spooling up late so i am hoping to get it right soon so i can enjoy my turbo. Thanks for the replies,i appreciate all the help i get from the boards.
