My dream of going turbo might finally come true faster than i thought. First off, i need to see what you guys think. Second i need to know the parts needed to make this work. This might turn out to be a little long, so please bare with me. One of the guys i work with the other day came over to ask me a question. He said " how would you like to turbo your car for free." I couldn't believe he said free and then he went into the details. Before i go any further, he is very mechanically inclined. He has done many turbo installs and engine builds. He has a built motor and custom turbo install on his Ford Probe that was done by him. The thing runs constant 10's in the 1/4. Anyway, the setup only has 4000 miles on it and was custom made for a GS. It's a Turbonetics TO4E with the ceramic ball bearing option, turbo manifold, GReddy FMIC, and external wastegate. He said that it has everything i need for a complete install. Except that i need to come up with the fuel system upgrade and anything else i might need to control. I need your guys advice on what i will need and a good place to get it from. Here are some things i came up with: Walbro 255lph fuel pump, VC1 fuel cut defender, ? fuel pressure regulator and gauge, boost gauge, egt gauge, air/fuel ratio meter, and GReddy profec B. Anything else that is a must right now?? He also said to go ahead and get a new clutch, rods and pistons. I was thinking ACT 2100 clutch and the JE pistons and Crower rods that HRC sales. Injectors and the S-AFC would soon follow...............To beat it all. He said he would install everything and do all of the engine work for almost free. All i have to do is repay him with a couple cases of BEER! Sorry it took so long to get all of that out. He said he would give me a list of everything i needed but, i wanted to ask you guys so nothing is left out. Please give me any suggestions you can and if i should even do it, parts needed, which ones are better, and the cheapest place to get them if possible. Thanks Craig
