63108, Apexi auto timer rpm wire

Hey I have this turbo timer and I lost the instructions. I know when I installed it I used the greddy harness and tapped the O2 wire into the ECU but I never hooked up the rpm wire. I just found instructions on the web on how to change the settings and when I do it, the display is in Auto mode. How can this be if I never installed the rpm wire? My timer ALWAYS counts down from 30 seconds.

thats all you really need is 30 seconds. check their website for wiring instructions..
