62747, Catch Can as X-mas gift. Posted by gilee_8, Dec-26-03 06:45 PM
Sup guys. I got my catch can today. And I want to make sure of this.
Do I take off the PCV valve then connect a hose directly from value cover to the catch can?
I am planning to connect both openings from the value cover to the catch can, is that good?
Thanks alot guys! Happy new year! Gil

Nope, you need vacume for the pcv to work properly. Just connect it to the breather port on the left side of your valve cover. Don't remove the pcv, its a bad idea. The better your rings seal the more zoom zoom for you.

OK, so I am kinda confused. So I do this. There are two holes on the Valve Cover.
THe one that use to have PCV valve is this: valve cover - hose - PCV - hose - catch can
The other hole that use to have a breather filter is this: valve cover - hose - catch can.
Am I correct? THanks alot guys! Gil
