I'm thinking about making custom intercooler piping for my custom tobro kit, and am wondering a few tings. First off, does anyone know exactly what bends they needed? Also, how much did everyone pay for all of their piping (not including the welding)? It's either do it this way, or buy the HRC piping, and get new flanges put on. Thanks!

Custom IC piping by the very nature means your way may not be someone elses way. your bends may not be another bends! Your turbo may not be anothers!
PAY ATTENTION PADIWAN!!!!!!!
Now, what to pay is as vast as the galaxy. It is up to the force and your knowledge of it to dictate what bends go where and how your starship is plumbed!

The Federation supply house JC Whitney carries such bends that you seek! Look there and learn, young padiwan. Know your starship and its needs. Then you shall be one with the force!

not sure what size piping you want.. but i have a diy piping kit.. 5 90 bends and 1 15... steel 2inch piping

what I did it I got the turbo and IC mounted and got kind of a clue what I wanted to do...then I went and got some 90* bends done at a muffler shop of the sizes I needed...cost me like 10 bucks. They're not the best bends as you can kinda tell for my sig...but they work for now, until I get around to gettting some bends from JCW. I had to play around with the bends that I got for a bit but then things just fell into place, and then I welded the sections I could. Plus I used the stuff from my CAI. Going to the muffler shop work out nice for me plus I know exactly what I need to order when I get to it.

well i do want mandrel bends. and as far as the route of the piping goes...i realize it won't be exactly the same, but i planned on following pretty closely to the HRC kit. it seems to be a great way to do it, and unless i come up with some reason not to, I'll probabaly do something similar.
