I have my pics for the dyno chart and some of my car. How can I upload them here?


Hey guys. My car is in Tucson right now on a dyno. They told me I am running 257 WHP with the 440cc injectors. I am pissed because I did not realize HRC sent me a damn 16g instead of a damn 20g like I ordered!! Man, I was expecting close to 330WHP like Siueclipse's dyno run. This HP is at around 9 psi. I told them tp up the psi to 15psi and see what it reads. The AFR is 11.5 at WOT.

Anyone know a good dyno place to tune the car where they actually know something about the 420A engine? I can drive to Houston, Dallas, Tucson or Phoenix (mayor metro areas nearby where I live).

anyway.. thats not a bad whp, but thats certainly not 9psi of boost. 9psi would be around 210whp, not 250+.. are you sure its not the 20g? if the intake housing is bigger than your dick then it probably is.. lol

Hey Siueclipse. Let me just say, your car is cool. I could not make the trip because of work and they took it free of charge.

The dyno chart looks nice and smooth, no up and down spikes. How do I paste the images on cardomain.com? I've already uploaded them but when it comes to showing my page it does not show the pics. It says use these tabs to blah blah blah. Thanks

BTW. They are going to get some race gas right now to dyno it at 15psi and 20psi. Some BP race gas. From what they said, they dynoed the car at 9psi for 247whp then they tuned it better and got the new hp. So I'm guessing that it is a 20g and the tuner thinks its a 16g for some reason. He said that turbine housing is a 6cm housing. Thanks Siueclipse.

250whp is damn good for just 9psi. Id make SURE it isnt boost spiking to get that high of a whp # though...just to be careful. cause thats a LOT higher than normal. good job though my friend.

actually, was it 9psi? or is that how you think it was running? you never specified exactly what boost thats at.

Final dyno run numbers are 284WHP and 290 of torque on 16psi of boost with the S16G. I have one 16g that is leaking oil and one 20g that that bad seals and it is also leaking oil. Now why I got a 16g instead of a 20g like I ordered? I don't know.

If I bolt the 20g, would I have to tune the car again? Anyway, thanks people:cheers

Nice numbers.....284whp sounds more like it for 16psi and a S16G well tuned. What other supporting mods do you have?

Yes, those guys at Apex seem to know what they are doing. I have a Vortech SFMU that they changed my previous configuration to a new one, two fuel pumps that they also changed over at Apex so I have no idea what they are using right now. WHat else, the greddy emanage with the profec boost controller and 440cc injectors. I have some other misc stuff but not related with the fuel or engine manegment. The tuner wanted to change to 625cc injectors, but I don't think the emanage will be able to to use those type of injectors.

The tuning was free of charge :-) and I will take it back after HRC rebuilds the two extra turbos I have right now. What kind of numbers should I expect with the S20G at 15psi and 20psi?

Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself here, but what stand alone would you recommend that is not the Accel DFI. Thanks for the replies:thumbsup :cheers
