61998, 25% for stft and ltft goes up too?? Posted by pn0ymahal, Dec-10-03 08:03 PM for sometime now when i 1st start the car cold or warm, my stft maxs out 25% ltft is on its way up.. but once i rev it super hard or let it max out and just drive it for 10 seconds my fuel trims will act normal like it should. What could cause this? once in a while i get a system too lean code... just makes me wonder... | |

It will also watch the ECT to determine when to switch from open to closed loop. It takes several seconds for my O2 sensor to start cycling right (when I start the engine cold or warm). I think thats all you're really seeing. I never pay attention to fuel trims until the car has been running for a few minutes. | |
